Kamille is an artist based in Northern Virginia. She uses drawing and digital media as the foundation for her work. Her imagery, consisting of text pieces, landscapes, and loose patterns, is driven by a desire to document her surroundings. This documentation has lead her to investigating regional narratives and to exploring the transient quality inherent to our relationships with land. She received a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University, was featured by Afropunk, and is currently an MFA candidate at George Washington University’s Corcoran School of the Arts and Design.
